The Goldendoodle: a perfect mix of beauty and playfulness. Known for their athletic prowess and tremendous footspeed, Goldendoodles and mini Goldendoodles are a cross between, the poodle, a breed known for their intelligence and personality and the golden retriever, known for their hunting skills and obedient nature. In other multi-generational cases, a goldendoodle can be a cross between two Goldendoodles. Designed for love, above all is the fact that they absolutely love to love and be loved, craving every minute they spend with you. They will astound you with their intelligence and willingness to obey when properly trained. A few minutes of time working to train them daily will yield an unimaginable result. Graceful and obedient, the Goldendoodle is a must have pet for pet lovers of all ages. The Goldendoodle loves so deeply that they are very protective of their owners just like most breeds. However, they are rarely ferocious in nature, but can stand their ground in situations when the need arises. The Goldendoodle’s call sign is “LOVE”.
HOW MUCH DOES YOUR GOLDENDOODLE LOVE YOU?
At first glance, the Goldendoodle appears pesky if not frisky, but this is simply because they love so abundantly and make friends (human and canine) so easily! They are always acutely aware of their surroundings and of course take in every sight and smell and every “new” person with both unreluctant and relentless affection. Scientists have indicated through vast research that cuddlling with your pet is a great stress reliever. Stress relief for you and for your Goldendoodle. So, a cuddle may be just what the doctor ordered. When they place their head on your shoulder or give you a swift kiss is when you know you have made that “love connection” with your doodle. Aside from seeking the warmth and comfort of their owner, a goldendoodle does cuddle for attention. They are attention seekers for sure, but aren’t we all?
At times the Goldendoodle may seem a bit needy, but just like humans they strive just to be near you and with you. The best part of a Goldendoodle’s day is any time of day when the owner gives them (and just them) attention engaging and playing. Owner engagement is a must in your Goldendoodle’s life. Reciprocation of their undying affection will build the strong bond that both you and your Goldendoodle desire. The goldendoodle has a loving nature and strong will to be a soulmate. Wrapped in warmth and with a gleam in their eye, the goldendoodle breed, in our opinion, is like no other.
How much does your Goldendoodle love you? The answer is they give abounding and abiding love to all they meet. To their owner, they give steadfast affection and constant companionship. You are their “person”. You are their everything! Chances are more than likely 100% they will be yours too! Do not be alarmed if your doodle does not fall in the affectionate catergory. All goldendoodle’s are unique and yours may just share a more robust and independent nature in less need of your attention. The nonchalant and carefree doodle is also beautiful to behold. We will explore Goldendoodles and their personalities in a later article.
DESCRIBING A GOLDENDOODLE IN ONE WORD
If there is one word you could use to describe this utterly beautiful breed, the Goldendoodle, it would have to be loving! If the dog is man’s best friend the Goldendoodle is man’s best lover️! As goldendoodles are very smart, they are easily trained and easy to take care of because they respond to and obey commands at a very young age. Who doesn’t love a pet that responds to every word or action of their owner. The Goldendoodle is so “in tune” to their owner, sharing and uncanny emotional partnership, they know when you are having one of “those days” or when you are not feeling well. It is at these times that they appear even more loving showing concern for your well being. If they could speak they would shout their love from the rooftops!
You will not meet a Goldendoodle who doesn’t meet a stranger. Therefore, in many instances the doodle must be trained to sit, stay and not jump up on every person they see. The joy the Goldendoodle feels when other breeds are near or when other people are near is overwhelming to them. Their excitement at the possible opportunity to engage is at an all time high.
TIPPING THE SCALES: BALANCING BEAUTY AND LOVE
Yes, definitely a lover, not a fighter the beautiful Goldendoodle takes the cake with an equal balance of playfulness and affection. Affection is many times shown with their body language. Goldedoodles love to snuggle and cuddle as well as share hugs. Quality bonding time with a doodle is the time you spend snuggling on the couch at the end of your day. Snuggling for warmth and comfort, the doodle loves to curl up in a ball, much like a doodle bug. Another beautiful trait of the Goldendoodle breed is that they love to touch. The sweetest moments are when you are least expecting it, they come to you, sit or snuggle near you and reach out a paw just to touch a part of your body, arm, foot, hand or any part of you that is near them.
The Goldendoodle loves to wag their tail when they are overjoyed at your return or when they see you first thing in the morning! As stated above, the doodle loves to jump up and greet you any time of day. Perhaps the sweetest form of affection shown by a Goldendoodle is when they “lean in” to their loved ones or lay down completely on their side. This shows they really trust their owner and love them tremendously. As Goldendoodles are a hybrid breed they have the loving qualities of their parents, the poodle and Golden retriever and or the Goldendoodle breed as well, combining friendliness, gentleness as well as overall sweetness! Let’s face it. The Goldendoodle has downright SWAG!
If you are looking for a new pet the Goldendoodle is your “golden ticket”
